This morning, set off on a tour of Muscat’s charming Old Town including a visit to the vibrant fish and vegetable market and the bustling Muttrah souq. See the Sultan’s residence, the Al Aalam Palace, before lunch in a local restaurant. Enjoy a free afternoon relaxing at your luxurious beachfront hotel.

Day 3
Muscat
This morning’s discoveries of Muscat will begin with a visit to the Grand Mosque followed by the Royal Opera House and Opera Galleria before time spent browsing the incredible and ancient exhibits at the Bait Al Zubair Museum. This afternoon is at leisure.

Day 4
Jebel Akhdar
This morning you’ll head off along the stunning Batinah coast before crossing the Haj jar ranges towards Jebel Akhdar. Enjoy a visit to the 350-year-old Nakhl Fort, and see terraced mountain villages, orchards and date plantations along the way.

Day 5
Jebel Akhdar
Spend the day relaxing at your luxurious resort enjoying the cool mountain air. Perhaps stroll to a nearby village enjoying the breathtaking views of canyons and valleys.

Today, set off on an exploration of the World Heritage-listed Bahla Fort and Jabreen Castle. Venture high up into the mountains and see 400-year-old mud houses, which are still occupied, and visit stone villages where weavers have been creating woollen rugs with bold geometric patterns for centuries.

Day 7
Nizwa, Muscat
Returning to Muscat today, we’ll stop off in the town of Nizwa, famous for its 17th century fort, souq, and artisans who create intricate silverware. Your journey ends later this afternoon with a drop-off at Muscat airport.
